Good beer, food portions are plentiful. Management and staff are very friendly and helpful, lending to a nice relaxed atmosphere. Just the job!
This used to be the 'underage drinkers pub'. It's now under new management and has improved significantly. The food is typical pub food, but done really well. I went there for a pub lunch with some family members and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend the Old Castle if your looking for pub food in Bridgnorth.
Great quirky old pub. Great selection of beers at good prices. And for an unseasonably warm October afternoon a great garden.
Great food and beer. Portions are huge and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended. Visited again and nice people, great food and great beer, what else do you need. A must visit. We go every time we go to bridgnorth wonderful food and beer an absolute must. Another visit and another great meal and yet again superb food and beer. Wonderful place.
The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Everywhere was clean and tidy. The food was excellent. We sat outside amongst the lovely flowers. However, there were far too many tables and chairs and we would have had to climb over some if there had been more people seated outside.
