Lovely pub, beer garden right on the river. Recommend the Guiness. A customer said the pub was haunted would like to know more.

Brilliant place right by the river in Bridgnorth. Reasonably priced drinks and excellent food.
Literally just visited here at 2:45pm with my partner and her dog. Great first impressions, with our first visit together to Bridgenorth. We wanted to find a nice restaurant that was dog friendly. We was delighted to come across Bassa Villa, that had a lovely location, over looking the river that was dog friendly and served home made food! As we entered there was nobody at the bar but there were some food menus in a holder, sat on the bar, we helped ourselves and proceeded to find ourselves a table. 10 minutes later, we are ready to order, so I approach the bar to order, to which I am then told sorry we are not serving food now. I asked when did you stop serving and the reply I got was about 10 minutes ago. Now my complaint and reason for the low rating is that I left very disappointed as, not anywhere does it state your times of food service. Only one notice on your chalk board out the front, stating you serve food daily. We now find ourselves across the river, at your neighbours, The Boatyard. Where they have successfully stated their food serving time. I recommend you take a leaf from their book to save any future dissatisfied customers. Regards, Alex.
