Small tea room adjacent to the cliff lift (funicular) in Bridgnorth High Town. Outside terrace looks down to the lower town. Fine selection of cakes, snacks & drinks. Don't forget to look through the window on the right as you descend the stairs to the tea room. You will see the winding gear for the funicular.
If you like quality food with a service to match this is the place for you. My wife and I have just moved to the town and this is going to be a regular haunt of ours. The salad served with the sandwiches was a delight. The selection of cakes are breathtaking!
Tiny but wonderful. Tasty, well presented food and drinks. Lovely views across the valley.As it's an old building it's access down a very steep winding staircase is very difficult for the less able bodied. If you can manage it though, it's definitely worth the effort.
What a cute and clean tea room! Hidden away from the high street but well worth a visit. Generous with my brie, loved that my salad wasn't a bog standard iceberg lettuce but had a variety of leaves and fruit. Excellent personal service. Fabulous views from the windows looking out over the town. Will definitely visit again.
