I really loved this place we were lucky to see both a steam and diesel engines. There was people in dressed in period costume and the setting just transports you back in time. My thanks to all the enthusiasts who keep this place looking so fantastic. The steam train was a real treat. Thank god that people are so willing to spend their time and energy on saving such important peices of history.

Lovingly preserved station on this heritage rail line. I liked the old vending machines from the days when a Cadbury's Fruit & Nut bar only cost 20p and anyone could buy cigarettes from a machine without having to show ID. The footbridge over the rail line is a great place to photograph the steam trains as they come into the station, and it is a short but steep walk to a nice pub, or walks along the River Severn.

Good outing at the train museum and cafe staff always friendly and helpful

There is a museum with some interesting train's and the old fashioned station look's good.
