Welcoming and helpful staff on arrival. Toilet and shower block typical Morris Leisure, immaculate. Bus stop 10 minutes walk from site entrance. Can't fault it.
Great site for visiting our industrial heritage. Very clean and maintained to a high standard with a nice lake if you like watching wildfoul.Traffic noise during peak travel times only during two nights stay
Quiet caravan touring park just outside Bridgnorth on the Kidderminster Road. Has a reception/shop, small children's play area, dog walking area and a lake in the centre of the park with its own resident peacocks, mallard ducks, moorhens and around 50 canadian mountain geese. The peacocks and ducks will come wandering around your outfit on the scrounge for leftover toast etc. Only down side is some dog owners let their pooches poop on the pathways and fail to clean it up and deposit it in the appropriate bins placed around the site.
Spent a great weekend at the site in the adults only area, lovely and quite and very well maintained. The toilets and showers were spotless. Everyone we spoke to were friendly and the lake in the center of the site is filled with all types of birds. The staff were very friendly. Will be visiting again soon.
On arrival I went to reception and before I could say hello I was greeted by a woman who said "check in isn't till 12"After initial shock I replied "hello, I know we are 20 minutes early for check in but are we alright where we are parked so I can take my dog for a walk"The woman then asked what my name was and when I replied she said oh yes you can go through to your pitch. We weren't allowed to pick a pitch in the adults only serviced section even though only two were taken. Allocated a pitch. Not the greatest of starts, no welcoming smile or friendly manner on arrival or throughout our 6 night stay. We were told and had it highlighted on the site map on how to pitch. Caravan nearest to the waste water drain, awning and then car. We did as we were asked only to be told very rudely to move our car and park it in front of caravan. Why highlight and instruct us one way only to tell us to move the car! It is a lovely site and tidy, a lovely lake, wildlife and peacocks, flat and easy accessible for wheelchairs, the toilet and shower facilities however, could do with a proper clean as there are cobwebs and dead flies around window sills.Traffic can be heard from the main road that the site is situated on.The dog walk area is very poorly signposted and only about 5 minutes walk.There is a country park 20 minutes walk away where dogs can go off lead.Ant bait is a must. Unfortunately, Stanmore Hall is not on our list for a return visit due to poor cleaning and rude staff.
